Gansu Chagma Wind Project
The Gansu Chagma Wind Project is perfectly situated on the edge of the Gobi desert to take advantage of the extremely high winds in the area. The electricity generated by this project is delivered to the Northwest China Power Grid (NWPG), which has previously been largely connected to fossil fuel powered plants.
The project is helping people and the planet alike - creating jobs in green energy and helping to protect the environment by reducing emissions by over 425,000 tons of CO2e a year.
